Relive Special Memories at the South Texas State Fair

Beaumont seniors have decades of memories from the South Texas State Fair.

Many of us remember walking beside our parents or grandparents with a corn dog and looking up at the Ferris wheel in wonder.

Today, we are grandparents bringing grandchildren of our own to the South Texas State Fair.

We’ll ooh and aah over our grandchildren’s art projects in the school exhibit rooms and help them find a food treat to remember. Pork on a stick? Fried twinkie? Chicken fried bacon?

Maybe not healthy, but something unique that will stand out years later when they look back at sharing this moment with you, their grandparent.

One thing hasn’t changed for seniors at the South Texas State Fair – or your grandchildren.

We’ll still look up at the Ferris wheel in wonder.
